did this put a toggle switch on an ran it to my steering wheel. works great once u retrain the ecu u will really see the diff. no codes by the way an i only turn it on an off when car is still

i just did the wiring for the switch and i am going to retrain ecu..what is the best method to do that.. drive like hell. with switch engaged(normal) or not? or drive like some granny like some other sites recommend.. WHY IS THIS MY ONLY UNANSWERED QUESTION ON THIS FORUM?

Thanks *****, now I understood.
The ECU will still re-learning so if you drive hard you will have a week or so of good acceleration times and a faster car, but then if you drive it slower, the ecu will relearn again and your car will be smooth, but slower.

Finally done reading ALL the post..............lol. Everything seems ok. Im going to unplug that sensor tomorrow. keep you guys posted.....

Thinking about trying this myself, My SC seems very limited in 1st and a slow shifter.
Also on the subject of wearing out the trans. If in fact all this solenoid does is bleed the pressure for smoother shifts and limited take off then it will in fact make the trans clutches last longer since they will not be slipping as much during first and during shifts. The downside would be that harder shifts and increase power to the wheels would be more abuse to the transmission hard parts, to the drivetrain parts behind the trans and engine mounts. But what performance upgrades doesnt cause more abuse to them?

The down shift to first when you are slowing down takes some getting used to, but it's nut actually hurting anything. I don't really notice it anymore but I have had friends that are in to cars ride with me ask "WTF is THAT!?" when I come to a stop sometimes. For me it was well worth the effort and accelerating didn't make it less comfortable to drive.
