Default Hesitation when I step on the gas throttle?

My SC has a huge hesitation everytime I step on the gas from a stop. For example, when I'm stopped and I step on the gas I hear like a THUNK sound and it kinda tugs before it starts going. Also when I'm going and I take my foot off the gas and then I press it again, this super loud THUNK!!! noise every time.... I'm not sure what this could be. Sounds something mechanical? I changed my Transmission Mount like 6 months ago and I didn't really notice a difference. So I'm not sure what this could be.

could be motor mounts or the carrier bearing in the drive shaft or someone left the bolts that hold it up loose

Check your motor mounts! If they are bad, and you replace them, make sure to loosen the 4 crossmembers bolts. This will allow your clearance for the new ones. Make sure you dont over do it, and break the high pressure side of the power steering... Word from the wise!

If that aint it, check your driveshaft carrier bearing as stated above.

What these guys are telling you could be the "thunk" noise. But it doesn't explain the hesitation. How long has it been since your transmission has been serviced/looked at? If you have something wrong with your T/C, that could be both your problems right there. If all checks out, then it could be two unrelated problems, such as motor mount and fuel filter, or something like that. My money is on something inside the tranny though. Good luck

i agree with 2jzlex, that thunking sounds a lot like its the torque converter locking up and engaging.

Had a similar problem the other day as per the hesitation. Would be a good idea for a full tune up including air filter and fuel filter but my problem was that I had debris on my MAF sensor screen. Pulled off a few leafs and I was good to go.

As for the thunking...could be a lot of problems.

Good luck man!
