I started a topic here 2 days ago, but no one replied. Hopefully someone can give me some info on this:

This kit claims to be able to hook a manual tranny to the 1UZ. Is this the real deal? What tranny(s) could work?

They show a bell housing but last I knew it still was not ready for production yet.

not to shoot you down or anything
but I don't really see a massive market for them, and it's probably not worth your effort to go into massive production.
I've got a TTC adapter (not installed yet) and it's beefy, and definitely works.
if you made an adapter to go from an R154 to the stock SC400 bellhousing, then you might be on to something. There are several available, but none are made in North America as far as I know, so shipping sucks. The disadvantage to that type of adapter, is that you'd need a different one for every manual transmission, and due to the design of the V160, that type of adapter would not be an option.
