Default clutch issues

i keep having issues with the clutch petal in my car and im outta ideas. ive replaced the clutch slave so i know its not that.
basically what happens is the clutch petal will stay down right where the clutch would engage/disengage. its not actually engaging/disengaging it but it is sitting right atop where it would. any help is appreciated BTW i did bleed it multiple times now.should i replace the whole clutch line? driftmotion has its own full length clutch hose that's SS.

what year is your sc? id check your clutch master cylinder, the rubber ring on the piston [inside clutch master cylinder] gets pinched usually and starts to fail the hydraulic system because the pressure leaks and wont pop the pedal back up. also id take a gander at the clutch pedal to make sure theres no binding. goodluck!

ahh okay, i just got a rebuild kit shows how cheap i am, hahaha jk but hope everything gets back together! make sure you install the piston rod the correct way, if you do it wrong it will rub against a bracket, or close to atleast, so doube check that before you ruin a new C.M.C.
and sexy ss clutch line....

well it may not be the "correct way" but the other way doesnt work good i can say that, for my sc atleast. well what i was talking about is this rod:

as you know/can see[kinda] this rod can be installed to the clutch pedal two ways being flipped.

in the pic below you can see a gash on the bracket and on teh opp. side of teh rod [when my bro installed it, he flipped it] where the rod would rub against it, i then fixed it after condusion, and flipped it and clearance was allowed

installing it flipped, will cause the piston rod of the C.M.C go in /more diagnoly and cause the rubber ring on the cylinder to be pinched on one side.
