Default Valve cover gasket and sealer.

In all the post I had read Talks about using gasket sealer. Now One states where and how much. The shop manual does not say anything about using sealer at all. Is using sealer necessary when installing new gaskets if yes how much and where?

Use FIPG in the corners because that is where it leaks from the most. I bought a big tube of it at the dealer for $16. You dont need alot of it just decent dab
