List of parts to replace before Winter
Ok so I have made up a list of parts I would like to replace before the New England winter comes, but I would like you guys to look it over and put your recommendations, words of wisdom etc in . Also if you have time could you tell me the cost of all parts combined? I came up with a number and I just want to see how accurate it is compared to everyone else's?
Water Pump (OEM)
PS Pump (not OEM)
Front LCA's (either Supra or just bushing replacements)
Drive Belt Tensioner and belt (both OEM)
Fuel Pump (not OEM)
Tranny (if I cant get an answer to this question https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=370503)
Fluids: Brake, Oil, Differential, PS, Tranny, coolant (all OEM fluid)
That is the list so far any input would be great
Car details:
97 SC300 Auto
172k
Pretty sure tranny fluid and differential fluids were NEVER changed
I already replaced the distributor gasket, VCG's, plugs/wires.

Looks pretty good, that tranny would definitly be a plus once it's all figured out. While your changing the control arms check the brakes and pads to see if there is plenty of pad material left so you can stop on those slick roads.
How much is it all together? ill do a price check on AllData when im not in class.

Well I came up with $1120 minus the tranny and that is with all the gaskets for the pumps and changing control arms and not just the bushings. If I just change the bushings that total will drop by about $300, but I think I'm just going to get the whole LCA's because I want new ball joints.
I would REALLY love to get a new tranny big time but its not looking to promising with the A343e fitting my SC300, so I'm in search of a good A340e now.
