SC300 Overheat/Thermostat/Waterpump
So just recently mySC300 blew the hose that is on the back of the motor, coming off of the heater core. Seems I have no circulation and it burns up what is in the motor and overheats. THe hose blew as a result I believe. I am unable to find a service manual and need to figure out where the thermostat is located for replacement, anyone able to help? -- I'm assuming its right off of the pump?;(

Ah
Alright so I replaced the thermostat and fixed the hosing coming out of the heater core -- My heater isn't hot, and my engine will start getting hot, between the two bars below the bars that have the red in it.. then it'll drop to acceptable levels for a bit then start heating up too hot again sounds as if the coolant may be boiling inside of the radiator, could this possibly be the pump or perhaps a weird clog?

If your car has more than 120k miles on it you should replace the water pump no matter what. They start to go in these cars around then, and it is a preventative maintenance sort of thing. Do it, or be sorry you didn't.
My point is that even if there is an eensy-weensy bit of hope in your mind that you won't have to replace the water pump, just forget about it and replace it anyway.
Also, it makes sense to start at the water pump if the thermostat wasn't the problem. As long and your crank fan is turning, you haven't taken the fan shroud off, and the radiator looks to be in decent shape it seems that the water pump is the next obvious choice.
