Default Can a high idle lead to damage?

So i changed my spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body and now that i put everything back together my car idles around 1200. All the vac lines are attached, the Idle control plug is snug too. I dunno if i can find the culprit so would it be alright to just leave it? or will there be a chance of some sort of damage in the future to the engine?

I bent the metal gasket between the TB and Intake manifold slightly but not creased or anything.
