Belement's SC300 NA-T Build
I thought I would share my thread from clubna-t.com so I brought it over for u guys.
I have most of the parts to start my project, which is 450-500Hp daily driver.
I am looking at doing things in stages so far there are 3 stages.
Stage 1: Will be to remove the head and see what I may need to replace. And I am gonna get the head all cleaned up and repaired if needed. The arp head bolts and thicker headgasket will replace the oem ones. Then all put back together.
Stage 2: After everything is running correct then the turbo will be added along with bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, MAP ECU 2, gauges, wideband, and meth kit.
Stage 3: Car will be tuned and all bugs worked out of the car. After this is done I will start my search for a R154 trans and parts to hold the power daily.
I got the gasket kit from mark and also arp head bolts so I have started removing everything to put those on. Even bought a 1/2 impact wrench for the crank bolt. Did find out when pulling everything off that I need to get my raditator re-cored or find a used one. But everything else has come off pretty easily, I havent had a lot of time to work on it but usually 2-3 hrs every other night. Also pulled the power steering pump off since a place here did a flush on my system and it just so happened to go out at that time. Here are some pics of the car and the break down so far.
The Day I got her
both of my babies 92 SC400 also known as the garage queen
Also shows some of the first mods done to the sc300, HIDs and also the fog light mod, lights have been changed out to match the others since then.
The beginning
Pulling it apart, the header and intake are both loose just didnt have them off.
More updates to come

Alright another update, each week has gotten busier then the last so this took a lot longer then I wanted it to. But I got the head off and man does it feel like a milestone for me. I test fitted the ARP headstuds as well, but the head is already on its way to get a 3 angle valve job and port and polish besides a break down to see if their is ne problems. Engine has 105k miles on it and doesnt look bad at all. Here are some pic..... enjoy
Next while the head is out I am gonna drill/tap the return line. And get the bumper off to start mounting the intercooler.

Time and money have been coming in short supply lately for this project but im having fun doing it. The head came back and looks amazing it did cost more then what was orignally quoted but the guys there did it were very fast and always got back to me, so I didnt mind spending the money to make sure it was done right. Anyway while it was out i pulled everything to mock up the intercooler and am getting ready to drill the return line. Im basically ready for reassmble and starting the full turbo installtion. All im waiting for now is the extra cash to get the MAP ECU2, wideband and ive been looking for gauges... too be honest i really wanna spend the money on those nexus autometer gauges. Other then that im getting pretty excited.
This is mocked up... I have the bolts to mount it there so dont hate the zip ties for now.. question? Do the intercoolers usually hang this low?
This is like a bizarro gunnar pic
Also the head soo fresh and clean clean
