Smile Help..Wideband LC-1 wiring, power tap

Well, I am putting a LC-1 Innovative wideband on the SC today. I got the bung welded on a while back. Thy put a plug in for me. I pulled the plug today.
Anyway, they guys at the mufflershop put the bung on the driver's side of the exhaust. So, where should I get the wiring into the cab? I found a plug in the floor on the passenger's side, but then I have to go over the exhaust to get it in. If I do this, it is right above the high flow cat. Won't this melt the wiring?

And one last thing, Where should I get power on start for the heater/power on the wideband controller? Just curious. Thanks for your input. One project at a time.

cig fuse in the drivers kick panel, and Im guessing your bung is facing towards the driver side if you have to go over top of it with the wiring. i got mine welded facing the passenger side so I just ran it up through the same floor gromet as the OEM sensor

i had my wideband replace one of my 02 sensors instead of just using a bung. I used the primary 02 on the driver side before the cat. The wire runs through the floor on the driver leg area and through the center console under the HU. It then connects to the ecu like a narrowband 02. I mounted my wideband gauge just to the right of my odo/reset buttons.

    you can see it here.

*edit. for power, a harness from the accessory switch. Much like a HID harness, except for the wideband, and it grabs power from my distribution block in the engine bay.
