Default sc300 lock diff

is it possible to lock the rear diff on a sc300 i was thinking of geting a lsd but not in my budget but then welding but you cant really unweld but if you put a lock on it you could remove it im guessing? help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Thats a huge negative. I know a few guys with welded diffs on their 240s. It may work for them but its not the same thing for the SC. They say the welds will break on our cars because they are much heavier and have more power. And plus you might get annoyed of hearing your tires chirp and skip every time you make a turn.

weldings the only way to lock them besides the kaaz 2 way? my friend with a 325 says his diff is open but when he takes his traction control off it locks his diff i was kinda sketchy when i heard it is it possible?

why do u want a welded diff anyways? for drifting?

my 2cent is i love my weld diffs in my 240s and my sc... cheapest and most effective way to drift.. take the diff out and weld it for like 20 bucks... thats b4 i had a welder. ill post some vids of the differences of a open, lsd, and a welded diffs later...
