Default Shift Kit for 1994 JDM Soarer

Hi guys i own a true JDM Toyota Soarer, your sc300 but with the stock 1JZ-GTE twin turbo engine. I'm about to start really building my car and the step im on right now is changing the way my automatic car shifts.

My first question is if ne one knows if the gear box is the same on the SC as the soarer?

And my second question is to any one who knows where i can get a good price on the valve body change that i would need to help me shift better?

You do it yourself, and save big bucks. Here's some very detailed info. Check this thread out: http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=267655

I could have sworn CL had this thread somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it for you. If someone knows where it is, please reply.

No. It is not the same. You have the R154 and the SC300 has the W58.
