Default Built Tranny

My car will never see more than 300hp cause i wont put that much money into it.. but i want to have a shop put in this kit

http://www.ipttrans.com/toyotaauto.shtml

IPT Performance Transmission Rebuild Kit A340 Series (Supra, 4Runner, etc.) with Raybestos Blue Plate Clutch Option

My question is this kit will not modify the valve body at all so im wondering if it is worth it. All this is in preparation for a 75shot wet kit that i want to put in to my sc400. My engine is in great shape but i dont trust the tranny with 190k miles.

Basically im afraid of paying to get a tranny built then having something go wrong with the old valve body...or is this unlikely with my modest hp gains which really wont be used all the time....
any input is appreciated here..

thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it if you just want it to make your tranny stronger. 75 shot wont hurt it. If you need faster shifts then it is a big upgrade.
