Default Help with AEM EMS 1101 pin 62?

Running 1996 obdII sc300. Trying to install AEM EMS system. instruction call out for MAP signal @ pin 62. There is no wire in the pin 62 slot on my ECU plug. Do I need to remove the pin 66 (MAF signal) and place it in pin 62? There is no mention of this in the EMS manual?

Car is down, any help appreciated!

forcefed, I'm not an AEM guy, but you can run new wires to pin 62, or you can do what you said and feed the map signal into the existing AFM wire in the engine bay. Its pin 3 on the MAF plug (the middle one). There is also a 5v at pin 4 and a ground at pin 5 (counting from the left 1 2 3, etc when observing the plug)
that you can tap your map sensor into (provided the AEM ECU is putting power and ground in those correct places).

Problem is there is no pin to run wires to... I'd have to remove a pin from a slot I'm not using and run it to there. I know pin 66 is the MAF signal wire. It's where the VPC was tapped into. But according to the AEM directions it says pin 62 is the MAP signal wire?

This would lead me to believe that on the AEM EMS ECU pin 62 needs to be the MAP input. SO I would have to remove a pin from another slot and run my signal wire to this point.

I just wanted to confirm this, because it seems odd to have to do this. When it's not mention in the instructions...

Just FYI I talked to the guys @ sound performance on the SF and the TT harness is the only only one with a wire in pin 62. The NA harness just has a blank space. That is why AEM includes pins in with the EMS kit. Of course I bought the kit used and did not get the pins.

Anyway I got it straight now should have it wired up tonight! can't wait for 8 grand redline and adjustable timing curves with data logging!

Just take an old pin out of the harness that is not used, or you are not using. You will need a really small flat screw driver to slide in behind the locking tab on the pins. Like an EGR pin or something.
