i seen somewhere on here, a guy connected the 2 stock manifolds and bolted up a single turbo to it. very DIY tho.

the 2 stock 1jz manifolds... since there is one for the first 3 cylinders and another for the last 3 cylinders to spool each turbo...

i saw that this guy in question, welded a log pipe to connect them together and put a single turbo in the middle

i got my Chinese manifold from SS autochrome. granted its a T3... but i had to get it reinforced, then get it shaved to make the flange flat when mated to the head.

it went from 190 bux to $335 after all of the modifications to make it usable.

A new 'middle of the road' option. They have the Quicksilver lineup of non vvti and vvti. They even have the Quick Spool Valve 1J manifold.

This thing is gorgeous for 750

Just imagine a 1JZ with the Quick Spool setup on a T4 turbo.

It's my underdstanding, it opens and closes when it receives more pressure gases from the exhaust. With one side closed, it spools up faster and the other side opens to allow the full potential of the turbo. Seen videos on Supra's with before and after installation, increased from 75-100 horsepower with these. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I also heard you really dont need this with a T4 type flange on the turbo and a T4 type manifold. This divides it already for you.

I just copied and pasted from SP's website

We have sold hundreds of Quick Spool Valves to date and have truly put them to the test. However, in recent months there has been concern voiced about extreme conditions such as extended heat or antilag launch control. Ask and you shall receive!! We are pleased to offer the Super HD design of the Quick Spool Valve which is specifically designed for extended abuse. Torture testing will be coming shortly of this completely new blade and shaft design utilizing EDM burn technology for a 100% increase in overall strength and endurance.
