that is a very bad manifold design. if you can make all that you might as well should have bought an ebay manifold, make an adapter flange to whatever turbo you are running and call it a day.
(btw they are not bad at all with some reinforcement) a buddy of mine is running it on his 1jz mk3 supra for about 2 years already without a single issue

well i guess "DaveH" makes a badly designed manifold. i could care less about telling him how and why to make stuff the right way. i have been doing it for a while and people dont listen. im not going to make it my business to guide people. how much is that manifold anyways? what turbo are you using?
t-ing off the wastegate perpendicular to the manifold is not good either. our cars have plenty of room under the hood to make a well designed manifold. if you are going to make something...might as well do it right. even for the sake of self respect.

Actually one of the only good things about that manifold is the wastegate placement. Its very effective for boost control. Even a 38 mil will control a 67 no problem. The other good thing is that it is very well put together with great fitment, good welding, and heavy material (feels like sched 10 or better). None of which can be said for Ebay manifolds.
Sure, its not the best for power, but unlike an ebay manifolds, it actually has a couple very good qualities, which have none other than being cheap.

I'm sure Dave had his reasons for making it that way. I personally run an XS manifold.
