Default Pulling cams help

Alright, does anyone know how to get the cams out... would i be taking the gears off or does that black backing come off?

Cam gears have to come off, the backing comes off. You take off the cam caps and then they come out. They might be a little bit stuck, I put the bolt back in slightly and tapped it a little with a rubber mallet until the cams broke loose.
