Default Installed new exhaust, now have some hesitation. WTF! *Now with Pics*

So I installed a true dual setup with an X pipe over the weekend on my '97 SC400. Now the car under very low throttle/acceleration feels like it's sputtering at low RPM. No CEL or anything and it's only happened twice over about a 60 mile period. NO backfires or anything like that. Otherwise it's felt like a great mod. Is it because the car is learning the new additions and it's trying to make adjustments or is there too much volume to fill/not enough backpressure? I'm not sure the size of the piping, but it looks like it's probably 2.5" from the downpipe/precats all the way back to the mufflers. Definitely not oversized IMO. Any input from anyone?

No, I got really excited when I got it so I installed it without even thinking of it. It's certainly nothing overly agressive. The stock rear cat (just a resonator on my car it looks like) is deleted and there is an x pipe relatively close to where the first Y pipe used to be, and then duals to the rear in nearly the identical shape as the old OEM piping to a couple Magnaflows. It's not really very loud at all, just very deep sounding. It really sounds great, no rasp to it at all. And it seems to have added some good power all through the RPMs.

Hopefully it will be the first N/A SC400 to break the 180whp mark

give it a few days and it may fix itself, that happened to me on my first SC when it was stock, a couple days later it was all good to go.

LOL, actually on the dyno we were doing some testing. Stock airbox with the filter taken out and lid open is a 4whp gain. Better then any cold air intake lol

I'm happy to report that the car is running much better, has a noticeable improvement in power, and sounds great. Apparently it just needed a few days, an ECU reset, and a few starts to sort out what it needed. I actually bought this setup from CL member JesLet who some of you may know is parting out his beautiful ultrasonic blue SC400 due to an unfortunate turn of events...

The mufflers and tips are all one piece, it's a stainless oval style muffler. Here's some crappy cell pics...

Stock '97, painted 1 part "dab of black", 10 parts clear, and a lengthy wetsand.

Hey what place did you go to get your exhaust fab'ed up? Do you recommend them and how are the prices? I am planning on getting a cat back with some magnaflows made for my car soon. Your exhaust looks sweet and your car is lookin' good!
