Super crappy idle, car shuddering?...
Okay, noticed it yesterday.
I'm pretty sure it's a spark plug not firing, but I'm not 100%.
At idle and low RPM's while accelerating the whole car shudders forward and when idling, the idle isn't right.
It sounds lumpy, or just plain wrong.
Don't know how to explain it.
ANY Ideas?
It's driving me nuts.
Also, it idles really really low.

sounds a little like it is a spark plug...no CELs at all? how long has this been going on? also does it seem to lurch as your going up hill at all? i had this happen a few months back when i pulled my car out of winter hibernation, turned out that a chimpmunk chewed through one of my ignition wires.

I have the same issue. It only does it when I am at idle and about 1/2 throttle. I get some kind of hesitation. If I am at WOT it seems to be fine even though I think it should be faster... does your exhaust sound choppy too?

Wow same thing to me on my 94 sc4. Mine only does it once in a while. It sounds like crap...like a v8+subaru. I let it idle and it goes away and if i try to drive it has no power then goes away...almost like on my old muscle when the carb gets flooded. So now i got this and a failing waterpump. Anyone in san diego wanna help me out?

If you don't have a Check Engine light on the dash, you can always hook up an LED to the 'W' connection on the ECU and read the codes blinked from it. Since I am doing a transplant of the 1UZFE into an older '87 Supra, this has been a life saver in trying to track down the problems in hybridizing the wire harness. Currently trying to track down 14, 15, 22, 24, 41, and 47 at the moment, lol.
