I have a 93 sc400, and im thinking of picking up a full sc300 motor/tranny/harness/ecu, all that good stuff and build the engine, na-t all that.
Is this a good route to go, or does it make more sense to pick up a gte?

You can really go either way. I would say do a search, and really decide for yourself what you want.
The SC300 tranny will only hold up to 350-400 hp, so if your long term goal, is high hp, then go the GTE route with the 6-speed. The GTE comes with some extras such as oil squirters and stuff, but wiring will be considerably more difficult.
Or you could just supercharge your 1UZ. People have gained some pretty respectable numbers with these setups as well.

if i got with the na-t setup, the wiring for it would be basically the same as wiring a gte into the car correct?
