Default intake and ecu

so im saving up and half way their for the srt intake and ecu package but i was thinking test and tune is coming up on the 25th and its only about 40 to test and tune so if i got a injen intake with another ecu test and tuned it would i get more power then the srt? btw when every i try to drive and put it in L then floor it i pop it in 2 around 5 1/2 and it just relines past 6 and doesnt shift for like 5 seconds it gets annoying and sometimes i accidently pop it in neutral from D while flooring it and it gets in the same zone was wondering is this to much stress on the motor?

Keeping it in drive will get you down the track quickest. If you manually shift it, you chance hitting the rev limiter and losing time. Also where are you finding this ecu + intake package?
