Default Ran her at the track today....

Also stopped at a truck stop and got my total weight. 3580 without me in it. SO 3790 with me in it! It's a whale!

Not what I was expecting. Previous seller claimed the car put down 422@17psi and 480 @21psi. These numbers seemed extremely high to me.

For those of you that don't know my car here is the list of goodies.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=317700

I am running factory timing with a te-44 and a dave H turbo kit. Only changes I've made are a meth inj kit, 20-22psi(Creeps with open dump), open dump, and a larger intercooler.

Anyway I managed to squeeze out a 12.1 @ 110. I know HP and trap calculators aren't exact but for a 3790lb car to trap 110 and run a 12.1 I should be pushing around 422WHP. These numbers seem more believable to me.

Pretty sure I can coax 11's out of her. I'm having issues with the boost logic trans not shifting under a load. Anyone have any experience with boost logic trannys?

Pics

Vids

Drag radial test'n.... they seem to be working!

Spankin two tubbed big block & trailered elkys! And I drove over an hour to and from the track!

Nice times! Look like it was pretty windy from the sound of the camera and the way the flag was moving. Do you think the wind had some affect on the your 1/4 mile time? Keep us updated when you go back to the track.

I agree, the 422@17psi and 480 @21psi seem high especially for a te-44 with an auto. IMO track times provide a better gauge of power than dyno's since the true power of a car can be seen with the trap speeds.

Thanks all. The wind was defiantly working against me. 15-30mph steady head wind will shed a few mph. I trapped 111 once that day to. I'm sure I could trap 112-113 with no wind and shed a few tenths.

The welds are a 15x8 with 5.5 inch BS. Best 60' was only a 1.7, theres a few tenths to be had with a better launch.

I was looking for 500WHP goal with a mid 11 sec slip. I think my only hope for that now would be a 100 shot of nitrous. Unless I went larger on the turbo and fuel system/management. I'll probably just leave it. It is suppose to be my daily driver I've got other "race cars". I didn't think the car was going to be so heavy either. Makes it hard to get those low e.t. in a 3800lb car! I'll just have to live with a low 12 sec daily driver.

Interesting. I'm headed to the track next month and have been wondering what I'll be able to run with my setup. I'm GTE swapped, making 540whp/500wtq (Dynojet numbers),AEM EMS with 2step/Anti lag, V160 6spd, TT Auto Torsen diff, Carbonetic Triple disc, and am gonna be running the 17in MT Drag radials. I probably weigh pretty close to where you are too. You think I can squeeze an 11sec slip out of it?

Your biggest prob IMO will be getting a good 60' with the manual. You'll definitly MPH quite a bit higher than my setup. What size turbo are U running? Must be pretty large for those HP numbers and only 18lbs?? With the AEM EMS U should also be able to rev the motor out alot more than me too.

I don't see why that setup wouldn't pull off mid or even low elevens....? I'd throw the meth injection kit on it and run 21-22lbs and shoot for the 10's!

I'm running a 4094R. I'm gonna toss in some C16 for good measure, but I'm pretty much out of injector, and I don't want them to go static for a second and cause a catastrophe! I've got the rev limiter set to 7400rpm right now, and I'm hoping that with the anti lag, triple disc, LSD, and MT drag radials, I can cut a decent 60ft. You're right though, it might be a task with the Getrag. I've just been wondering what my setup is capable of, and have been trying to gauge it against other peoples setups, so I thought I'd pick your brain a bit.
