These are the diagrams to install 98+ gated shifter. Spent 2 days to figure these out.

*** This wiring is for SC400 gated shifter, SC300 gated shifter might be different, I don't know since I never had a SC300 gated shifter assembly***

*** I might be able to do a SC300 gated shifter DYI if someone is able to send me an SC300 gated shifter assembly.***

Non gated shift lock harness into 98+ gated shifter harness:

Look at that tangled mess of wiring. lol. Very nice work, I'm going to keep a copy of this in case I decide to do this mod later. I'll also add it to my DIY collection.

It's not really a lot if you do it.

Those wiring are for the gated shifter , O/D , ECT, and lamp.

Looks alot from the diagram but really it isn't...

This mod is for my SC400 it should also work for SC300.

As for my SC400 stock shift linkage, I shortened it by 1 inch. Yes I cut it and rewelded by a bodyshop!

The indicators from my cluster lights up too! Awesome.

I could have done this in a day but the wiring took me 2 days since I don't have schematics.

You can reuse the bolts from your non gated shifter to hold the shift linkage to the new gated shifter.

Took me 2 days to figure out the rest of the wiring.. Well here you go... easy wiring for everyone.
