Im looking at doing the swap. I have a 97sc300 and buying a gated shifter off a sc300. I read thru every post and couldnt get someone to confirm the shift linkage not having to be cut. Someone let me know if I can use the existing shift linkage to swap shifters. Thanks

I have read a few people modifying the linkage....too may variables to keep up with. Some have used the newer shifter from the 300 on older 400, and some have used the newer style from the 400 onto the 300. Truth is you may just have to bolt everything up and modify where needed.

I have this same question. I have heated seats and TRAC but i still want these to function properly. The Assembly I have doesnt have heated seats but has the " ECT POWER SNOW " switch. How would I be able to work around this?

I would just use a Dremel to cut holes the correct size in the bezel and use some J.B. Weld to strengthen the back and create a place to screw the switches into.
Does this make sense? It does to me, but I'm not sure how clear it is to other people, lol.
