Default Clutch? What is wrong?

Ok to keep it short sometimes my clutch doesn't fully engage. Sometimes (more often than not) I can't get it into gear until I shut the car off and then I have to restart it. I bled the clutch and I didn't help. FYI about 6 months ago I put a centerforce DF Clutch (I don't think this is relevant but I'm hoping you all know something I don't). Is there a way I can tell if it is the master cylinder or the slave? The slave doesn't appear to be leaking and I can't see much of the master.

Thanks for any help.

I have pretty fresh amsoil in there right now. Remember that the car will go right into gear if the engine is shut off and it should be the same when the clutch in engaged.

That seems like a lot of work just to see. I don't see how this could be the problem from what I described but please explain.

I'm thinking the same thing but what makes you think that it's the slave over the master is it just that it is cheaper.

Thanks
