I have seen it on automatics too. Look at the 2g dsms. There is a major argument over what causes it in them. My buddy had a 5.0 mustang that went for a walk back in the day. Oh well.

well the problem in the dsm cars is the flaw in oil gallery around the thrust bearing. thats why they get crank walk.
