Default 400hp 1jz?

is it possible to build a 1jz to 400hp, without braking the bank.. right now my Soarer is STOCK and yes it is auto and with a 1jz so i was wondering what kind of mods i can do to push decent numbers... heres what i had in mind

charge piping, FMIC, 3"inch piping, Greddy Type M kit with nice Greddy Blow off valve, new injectors, with a resistor box from a supra mkiii, 3inch straight pipe exaust with a greddy tip.. Tien suspension (sports comfort) fully adjustable, boost controller, Strut bar.... and thats it for now... so let me know what else i can add thats not to expensive, and will upgrade the power without rebuilding the block... i was told i can push the 1jz up to 14 to 15 psi on a daily basis, but i shouldnt go past 17psi on a stock block...

show me the money

-Stephane

thanks

just to give you an idea, the record for HP on a stock 1jz block was around 900whp. there are many guys pushing 5-600whp on stock internals with no issues. The only thing that is a weak point are the turbos, which are ceramic, and can't take more than 20 psi for extended periods of time. get a single turbo, and you'll be well on your way to your 400whp goal.

It's gonna be tough making gobs of horsepower with stock ceramics. Boost should be limited to the 13PSI range to keep some reliability in your turbos.

You can however raise the power with the stockies. Get a boost controller, bigger injectors and go to a front mount intercooler. I'm pushing ~300whp with the stock twins at ~12psi. I think I'm maxed out on my twins.

You will need to go single if you want to make 400whp, no question.
