I must be the lucky one. Trac on mine works fine in the rain. Smooth, seemless and hard to tell it is doing anything except for the trac light indicating engagement. I can gun it from a stop turning in the rain and it will get up and go with the trac light flashing the whole time, straight as an arrow, much better than the one wheel pulling on non-grip side. It would not be surprising that it does not work great in the snow/ice, but that is simple physics, only one wheel pulls (that is where a LSD, snow tires and good throttle control might work better). I bet an LSD, tires and laying off throttle would cost a lot less than adding Trac on a non-trac car anyhow.
