im looking at some SC's, im about to go look at a 92 in a bit, but my dad looked some stuff up on the net and it said that their Auto trannys are bad? asking because planning to pick this up for a project/daily since i wont have cash for a new motor or tranny anytime soon.

so im wondering if the auto tranny's are reliable? (im sure they are but the internet can be right sometime )

They're not bad. It's probably just some people who don't really take care of their cars.

But a 5 spd tranny will outlast an auto one though.
