Default NA-T won't go lean enough! (SAFC II just installed)

Installed the SAFCII. Works great, but still can't get the car lean enough? It does drive better with the hi and low settings of the safc. But @ -20% on fuel from 2800-6500 and I still get dead rich on the WB02. If I moe it to 30% it goes dead lean. Is SAFCII only good for 20% decrease in fuel?

Not sure what else to try! Suggestions?

The car has

550cc injectors
vpc safcII fuel management
341 walbro pump
Fuel Dampener bypass... Could this make the car overly rich? it was already done to the car when I bought it.

I'm thinking adjustable FPR next I dunno!

unfortunately there is no way of knowing. I opened it up and the number on the chip doesn't correspond to any of the vendors chip numbers or original HKS PN's. HKS said it could have been burnt by anyone. You all think I should just order a new VPC chip to be sure? Where is the best place to buy one? We're suppose to buy the MKIII chips or something right? I'm OBD1.

Also shouldn't I be able to tell if I have the right chip by the karmen/HZ numbers on the SAFCII? Not sure what the numbers should read WOT...?

Thanks...

So just for anyone interested I figured it out. Not sure what happened last night but I went out today and got it tuned in pretty well... 25-27% lean did the trick on the WOT maps. Af's are down to 10.9 11.1 ish with the meth injection. Car pulls really hard and I have it turned down to 20lbs from 25 for testing ppurposes.
