SOOOO i was out practicing tonight at my local walmart parking lot

and i have my auto in 2nd gear just chilling,


Well i completely connect 7 islands while ending in a nice little power slide at the end when i hear a nice load crunch noise.... thought for a little while "hmm wtf was that?" then dismissed it as a random noise that my SC likes to make... its weird... but hey whatever , story for another time...

ANYWAY... so i go to accelerate and then all hell breaks loose...

Drive shaft comes unsplined... and goes crashing down to the ground... my transmission starts shaking then with a loud bang followed by a serious of crunches Grenades it self leaving a rather large mess of fluid, solenoids and cluchs on the ground....


So there i am ,after feeling like a bad *** and putting on quite a show for the stunned onlookers of the walmart parking lot and a few people that were inside.... STUCK in the parking lot... with smoke and gears all around me

after a series of words i didnt even know existed and a loooong rant of epic swearwords i calmed myself and began research....


JDMmuscle is with out a transmission... i need one, If you love me you will aid me in my quest for the most BA auto trans ever,, because i am to lazy to sort threw all this trash to find all the parts for the 5spd trans.

OR if you have any other info on auto trans that would be able to stand the beating i seem to put upon them, considering this is now the 4th Trans iv had in 2 years

LOL, I tore up a clutch once while showing out and everyone was looking at me like I was the anti-christ for doing what I did to that parking lot. Least impressed was the store manager and I had no way to get away. LOL!

You just stand there looking around at everyone looking at you like your a richard head and you have NO WAY TO LEAVE!

Put a TH400 in there - you will have a hard time destroying that.

Sc 400 trannys can't take too much abuse and with all the abuse yours got i have to say it help up for a while .Replace it for a used unit or TH400 ftw

Wow, that is a crazy story! I hate when $4!t like that happens. I am not clear on what tranny you want. Are you currently a 5 speed manual or a automatic? Is it a SC400 or 300. I know your sig says 400 but I am guessing its a swap, right?

i would go with either boost logic or th400. as far as loud noises after crazy slide, i would probably have checked on that before accelerating again.

5spd swap would be badass but like i said i have limited mechanical ability, Im body man, If there was some kit put together i would do it

I have two stock 97 sc400 trannys one with 80,000 miles and one with 103,000. You could send one off to BL to have it biult up super tough. Shipping is a killer on them.
