Default Electrical Specialist OR Transmission Specialist

Is there away to fool the Shift solenoid?
I did a five speed conversion and check engine light is on.
The Ecu is looking for the Shift solenoid # 1 & Shift solenoid # 2
If there is a Electrical Specialist OR Transmission Specialist at CL. Maybe you might have the answer to fool the ECU. I have been POSTING and Searching and can't find the answer to this problem.

If you still have the auto and your have a multimeter measure the resistance across the solinoid(s).

Once you know what the resistance is then you can get a resistor and wire it into the loom in the appropriate place. This should make the ECU think that the trans solinoids are still there.

Matt.
