Part # for K&N drop in filter for a 1998 SC400
Guys,
I have been searching for what seems like an eternity. I need to find out what the actual K&N drop in filter part number is for my 1998-2000 SC400. I went to Advance Auto and took a 98 GS400 filter out to my car and it was too wide for my stock air box. I called Carson Toyota today and they gave me the TRD part # PTR058996002 FOR $54.86 with the CLOEM discount code found on this forum. The item description is for a 3.4L V6, I assume from the newer Tacoma's. I located a FRAM AIR HOG at rockauto.com part # PPA7626 FOR $10.74 SHIPPED. I have never even considered using a FRAM product in my car but for this BLOW OUT price what do I have to lose. I checked on Fram's web site for a 2004 Tacoma 3.4 L V6 and the same Air Hog part # PPA7626 is listed for the 98-00 SC400. Any help with the K&N part number would be greatly appreciated

Thank you very much for this part number. I tried looking up a 2004 Tacoma with the 3.4L V6 and this is the exact same part # shown. I hope this Fram air hogg works well. I can't believe I am putting a Fram filter on this car.
