mento shape inside clutch reservoir?

anyways i was checking the clutch reservoir today and say a mento shape thing inside the clutch reservoir..is it supposed to be in their or what?

yes, its black correct? It darkens out the spot where it is floating so you can see your fluid level from the outside of the reservoir.
