Default Whipple S/C in a Soarer

Well the fun starts this weekend, have everything ready to go.

The resized pulleys will be in my hot hands tomorrow, and all the rest of what I need is in the boot.

If it all goes well should be going by Sunday afternoon, and on the dyno Monday, I hope.

Will take plenty of pictures.

I am anxious to hear your reaction to driving a Whipple supercharged 1UZ.

I hope the install goes 100% smoothly.

I got it in kit form from a supplier here in OZ called Richwood Technologies,
he can supply manifold and and parts needed to fit just about any blower to
the 1UZ.

You either fit your own blower or he can supply one, Eaton, Opcon, Whipple.

Boo, I wish we had more US markets for FI. I'm thinking of doing a SC, I feel the reliability is in the SC setups. Good luck, keep us posted!

Made good progress today considering the actual time worked on the car and the rest of time talking to people that just dropped into my mates workshop to see what was happening. Andrew came in and dropped off the remachined pulleys and also to pick up a 3UZ motor and g/box that Lew had in his shop for him, wait tilll you see what he has planned for the VVTi motors.
We got talking and he had a 3.3 litre Whipple with him that ha needed to measure up in the Soarer for the air intake to see if there will be enough room for it. Got some pictures, but they are on Lews camera, forgot to take mine, will get them later and post them up.

We had a couple of minor setbacks, nothing major but they are sorted now.
Another day at it tomorrow, if too many people dont drop by that is.

Will post up pics when I get them.

I will tell Andrew g'day for you Andrew.

Andrew can supply a semi kit, you just put your own S/C on it.

Had the worst headache today so not a lot got done.

Need to get some fuel lines made tomorrow and I need to modify a fuel rail at work tomorrow, and couple of other minor things.

Maybe Tuesday will be a better day.
