*Open or short in IGF or IGT circuit from igniter to ecu.
*Igniter.
*ECU.
71 - EGR system malfunction
Trouble area
*Open in EGR gas temp, sensor circuit
*Short in VSV circuit for EGR.
*EGR disconnected or valve stuck.
*Clogged EGR gas passage.
*ECM.

i did cat an igf wire one day someone told me i could hook up a tach to it it didnt work so i did splice it back togather and all my car still runs fin tho do u think it is affecting anything
