Default 92 sc400 idle problems

i own a 92 sc400 w/ about 196,XXX miles on it. The only thing wrong with the car is that it idles really low. After the car warms up, the idle in park and neutral will be at about 400rpm. When i put the car in gear the idle will drop below 200rpm. Once in a while the car will die out when i gas it real quick in drive or reverse. Has anyone ever had this problem? I searched for this but in the forum but couldn't find anything similar to this. any help would be great.

Welcome. There's a forum here that says "engine" right by the button you pushed to post this and that's where this is going.

Moved.

Turn your throttle positioning sensor about 1/8 inch to the right.

I also have the same problem. Exact same issue. I have about 200,000 miles also. So far I have cleaned the throttle body, replaced tps sensors, replaced fuel filter, swapped throttle bodies, swapped mass air flow sensors, replaced pcv valve, air filter, reset ecu, checked for vacuum leaks, cleaned IACV etc. I took it to toyota and they couldn't find anything wrong.

I also have a misfire. I'm hoping its related to the distributor caps and rotors. I have already replaced the spark plugs and plug wires. I will be replacing the caps and rotors as soon as I receive them via UPS. I'm hoping its not the iacv. Try adjusting the tps like mkorsu suggested. I will try adjusting mine after I get this misfire corrected.
