Default what is EGR?

My check engine lights when on and so did the traction off. I pulled the code (67) and it's the EGR. What is that and how do i fix it.

Every little info is helpful

Exhaust gas recirculation, just run a search and you'll find plenty of info on it.

well..i did but don't know what the usual problem is. Do I have to change the valve or other stuff. Anyone experience the same?

usually the valve is all stopped up with carbon or the lines connected to it. Just clean it up and it'll proly go away.

Rex is right, but remember...pulling a code does not always mean 1 particular thing is wrong. You're getting an EGR code and that could be due to one or more of at least 6 different things.

I removed my entire EGR system and made my own block off plates.

I still have not gotten a check engine light

btw where did you mount your map ecu

right by the ECU (passenger area, under glovebox, where their feet would usually go kinda).
