ok so i disconnected the yellowbox from the pink wire (VSS) on the ECU.
I simply connected the yellow box directly to the speed sensor on the transmission..
works like a charm.
So if anyone is wondering- do NOT connect the yellowbox to the VSS pin on the ECU. Just connect it down by the VSS itself, on the transmission.
Longer gears are nice- the 3.76:1 ratio vs the 4.27:1 is about 12% longer

I just left the yellowbox to the side of the ecu's big black plastic cover. Pretty much where all my other crap is stuffed haha (MAP ECU, greddy gauge control unit thing, yellow box).
Blizzy- Yea, with a 67mm turbo and lots of boost- I definately wana be a high speed deamon. High speed assasin0 I like that
Scott- thanks. It's a really cool little unit, and it's got a 10 yr warranty too I think? For about $100, its not too bad. It could adjust + / - 28%. It does its job, so i'm happy. Good luck with your car- it's going thru some major mods

I installed a rear end (the entire pumpkin) from a 1997 automatic supra TT. The ONLY thing that needed to be swapped over from my stock sc300 pumpkin to the auto supra tt pumpkin was the yoke.
A 35mm deep socket is needed. It was a major PITA finding this, but a local Kragen had exactly what I needed. It only took a couple hours to swap the pumpkins. Very simple, straight forward, nothing too difficult. A friend helped me, cuz the rear diff is pretty damn heavy. It's definately easier with an extra pair of hands.
The car handles better, launches better, and overall feels a lot more solid. Oh, and it leave two nice 275mm wide rubber marks too if I feel like doing something crazy
Not only do I now have a torsen limited slip diff installed, I'm also using the 3.76 gears. I couldn't stand the 4.27 gear ratio that came with my automatic sc300 rear end. This will increase my top speed from about 160mph (old gears) to a hair over 180mph (new gears).. not that I'd ever be doing anything like that anyway
LSD and longer gears are nice- it'll be definately to my advantage with a 67mm turbo. I'll be in each gear longer, and even be in the powerband longer. It's actually noticeably faster at higher speeds now
To clear things up, the rear end from an auto TT supra IS a direct bolt on "upgrade/mod" for a sc300- as long as the yokes are swapped.

did you have to swap out the axles too or just the diff

Any pictures of the rear end install? I've got a very similar setup with a 61mm turbo. I'm looking into buying the 3.76 gear swap as well.
Nice car! I think you've got some serious power that could be free'd up in that tune of yours though. Something doesn't sound right with those numbers. I'm making around the same power w my setup. Almost exactly like yours. Even the same exhaust but no exhaust dump.
Recently dynoed at ATS racing 420 rwhp/404 torque on 17 pounds and pump gas. At 21 pounds it put down 483 rwhp/435 torque with a mix of pump/VP110 octane.
This is with a crappy vpc gcc setup. And an automatic Boost logic tranny w/ a loose 3300 converter.
I'll trade ya...?
