Default Exhaust suggestions for boosted cars

I bought a GTE Swapped sc that has an HKS super dragger with the resonator cut out of it and it is way louder than what I want. What are you boosted people running that has enough flow for say 600 whp but is not terribly loud

stock catback.

throw in an electronic cutout

I have a 3" cutout installed in my downpipe.. they are made in 3.5" and 4.0" as well. It sounds stock when I want it to.. and when I open the cutout, it sounds like all hell is breaking loose

I just installed a Greddy SP in my 2JZGTE SC. The thing sounds great. Stock like sound at idle, and at WOT, its BARELY louder than stock. I was worried about performance after hearing it, but someone told me they made 700hp using the same setup.

If stock is a 1-10, the SP would be a 1.5/2-10. Its that quiet.

That seems like the best way to go. Wont get hassled by cops or lame ricers in Socal But when you want to show peole your car is serious thats when the cutout comes in

Boostlogic 4" catback or DIY 4" catback. Use a muffler and a resonator and you'll be fine. Resonators help a tremendous amount with the sound.

That is exactly what I want to do, except I want to remove my resonators. I think the backpressure from when the EC is closed is bad for the turbos (high boost modded).

I'd LOVE to have to huge N1 style mufflers with big piping...

but around here, it's a no-can-do. The cops are jackasses

They arent. The flow 99.9% of a straightpipe. Plus cutouts sound like complete ***. Part of having a turbo setup is the awesome exhaust note that a single turbo provides on a 2jz. A cutout denies that.

Custom 3.5" piping into 2 3" sections, no resonators, into 2 Magnaflow mufflers. Sounds amazing.

I would proably be fine had someone not decided to cut off the HKS dragger resonator. I looked on magnaflows website and did not see a resonator on there. Can you point me where to get one?

I also woudl prefer a dual set up which would entail me building a system.

I don't think Magnaflows make resonators, i know they make high flow cats and mufflers. Never heard of Magnaflow resonators.
