Default can anyone help with this

i was driving to the upolsterer today first long ride in my project rebuild 92sc 400 and the gauge cluster backlighting would dim when i applied the brakes ,not every time but most .can anyone help me diagnose that and fix thanks tom

Do a search for 'electrical ghost'. It can be your battery, alternator, negative battery cable, negative grounds.

thanks for the suggestions and if it makes a difference i noticed that when the dimmer control is comepletek;ly on it doesnt flicker when brakes applied
also K.I.S.S. there was noback window it was broken out in the fire
