You need to add more brake fluid.

I have this SAME problem... the red e-break 'BRAKE' light shows on my cluster off and on. I checked my Brake reservoir and it's up to the "MAX" line. And it still goes on. So it's not the fluid for me... Why else would it be coming on and off for?

No, my e-brake isn't up silly lol. But it's the same red 'brake' light on the dash that comes on and off (that you see when you pull up the e-brake). It comes on and off while driving, the same problem you have.

I think there's a sensor on the brake fluid cap. That sensor may have gone out. I don't know how much it costs for an SC but for my dad's Landcruiser it was like freakin $90!!! We checked the brake pads, fluid, e-brake and found nothing... until we decided it might be the sensor at the cap.. yea $90 is a b!t(# for a brake light. It didn't even affect the performance of the car.

low fluid could also mean you need to change your pads soon.
