Default strange crunching noise

I'm getting a strange crunching noise coming from either my diff or transmission. I can feel it as it crunches in the shifter. I am currently running the stock w58 with the stock diff. Anyone ever experience this? I have a feeling my transmission or diff are on their way out, but I'm not 100 percent positive.

Sounds a bit like the rear end but I have no idea how strong they are on our cars.
