Need advice, transmissin question
Last week Friday, I was driving back home from work and all of a sudden my trans starts making a horrible sound. I engage the clutch and took the car out of third hear and the sound goes away. Long story short, Whenever i press the clutch in the sound goes away.
The car is a 1995 Sc with a t67 turbo that put down 507 horse at the wheels. The prevoius owner replaced the transmission in Jan 07, I dont have more then 5000 miles on that trans.
Iam still planning on putting cams in the car for more power, iam hopeing to be around 600hp when all is said and done.
I will need a a transmission, my question to you guys is, what should i go with to handel all the power that iam going to be putting down. Would a supra six speed work with my current setup or do i have to go with w154.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you describe the sound? Does it make the same sound in every gear? Will the car still drive?
Maybe it's the throwout bearing, not the transmission.
