Post Shortblock to Longblock (Parts?)

Ok, I've decided to teach myself how to build an engine from the shortblock up. I just started this journey a few days ago, so I'm still rather wet around the ears - been studying 6-8 hours a day though, and my gf's starting to get cranky. I'm making this thread in order to aquire knowledge from the more experienced tuners in the club. I know we've got a few certified mechanics (and even more competent amateurs) so gathering information should be fairly easy. Keep in mind, I'm writing this from the perspective of someone converting a 2JZ-GE NA into a single-turbo 2JZ-GTE, so I'm looking for quality/performance here, but my goal is only around 500whp @ ~18psi (8-10psi during daily driving) so I don't need to go high-end on everything. Just what I need to maintain a well-tuned, durable engine.

Ok, since I'm not going to try to fit a whole engine-build-instructional on one post, we'll start with turning a shortblock (block, crank, pistons, rods, bearings) into a longblock (cylinder head, valvetrain, cams/gears, etc) and maybe get into manifolds and such. Here's a list of parts I have on my list so far -

OEM Shortblock
ARP Head Studs
HKS 2mm (7.97:1 ratio) Metal Head Gasket
OEM Cylinder Head
Crower Valves, Springs/Retainers
Ferrea Valve Seat Locators
Ferrea Valve Seals/Locks
HKS 264 Camshafts
HKS Adjustable Cam Gears
HKS Fine Tune Timing Belt
Billet Timing Belt Tensioners

That's the parts I have picked out so far. I know I'm missing some stuff, but I don't have a complete parts list, so I'm trying to make sure I don't forget anything.

Anyone want to tell me what my next steps should be, or correct any glaring mistakes? I appreciate the help, and will answer any questions I can

--UPDATE--

So I worked on it some more last night, and here's where I'm at -

OEM 2JZ-GTE Shortblock
ARP Rod Bolt Kit
OEM 2JZ-GTE Cylinder Head
Crower Valves, Valve Spring & Retainer Set, Valve Seat Locators, Seals & Locks
ARP Head Studs Kit
HKS 2mm (7.97:1) Metal Head Gasket
HKS High Lift/Duration Camshafts
HKS Adjustable Cam Gears
Billet Timing Belt Tensioners
HKS Fine Tune Timing Belt
Titan Intake Manifold

From there I was considering the PHR Stage 1 Turbo Kit and a HKS Type-S FMIC. Now PHR says the Stage 1 Kit doesn't require an ECU upgrade, but that's assuming I already have a Supra TT ECU/harness. Does anyone know if I would have to upgrade from a 98 SC3 (VVT-i) ECU, and if so would it be better to just snag one from a Supra TT or buy a standalone EMS? I'm all about the HKS F-Con V Pro, but I'm not so much about dropping $1700 on something I don't really need.
