Default is there a trick to the fuel filter

i have the right side on but the left side wont screw in. its not strip or nothin nothing its good as new, just wanted to know before i take another go at this tomorrow

The fitment of the line nuts to the threads of the filter is the worst engineered part of the car. I used a Lex. filter and it was still very tough. Line wrench and vice grips.

yeah when i did mine. that **** was hard has hell to get off!! i mean my arms were burning from all the gas leaking down my arms. be sure to tie some rags around your wrists so it doesnt go down your armpit and burn that **** out of u. i had to use vise grips and a wrench. every single turn felt like i was stripping it on there. but i wasnt. worst fuel filter of my life!

Yah it def does suck alot. last time i did it on a lift tho, it was alot easier.

was it really that hard to get off?

i changed mine and well yea.. hard part is breathing when theres gas going out of the hose and keeping warm =[.. even tho it was hot outside.. it was cold under there!
