Default Filtration

I decided to just go with a drop in K&N filter for the car Perhaps some day I'll buy a cone filter and intake, but not now.

I also purchased a K&N oil filter with the wrench off top. Does anyone have experience with these?

They're pricey compared to a normal filter, but hopefully its worth it.

Interested in this as well, I pulled my Injen off to put the stock intake back on and was planning on getting a K&N drop in.

it was discussed over and over.
You won't see any improvement over the oem cotton filter, and you'll be more open to MAF malfunction due to the oil on the K&N.

Just use OEM toyota/lexus oil filters 90915-YZZD1 is the OEM number but a 90915-YZZD3 will add a quarter quart more oil to your car. The more oil you can get into the motor is a good thing.

I think they are talking about air filters not oil filters

Performance seem the same or slightly better, but fuel econ is up a noticable amount. I mainly purchased the filter for the lifetime warrantee and low maintenance.

We've been using K&N for year with our car and have yet to have a MAF fail

reason that happens is that people add too much when they recharge the kit.

I recharged to filters already, no problems
