sc400 not starting in morning but easily starts later in day?

sc400 not starting in morning but easily starts later in day?
whats going on? won't start in the morning... it cranks and almost starts . seems like it fires for a second but jus won't start. then when i try later on in the day it starts right up on the first key turn.

Maybe its the o2 sensor?? haha. I guess the warmer weather gets the o2 warmer so it works more efficiently enabling you to be able to start your car. A cold o2 won't work as well as a warm o2. Its like when you have to smog your car. Make sure the engine/sensors/cats are warmed up to normal temperature before you take it in or else you will get inaccurate readings from cold o2 sensors/cats.

Seriously though it could be your fuel pump ecu on its way out. Next time it doesn't start try jumping b+ to fp in your diagnostics port and see if it starts up. If that doesn't help then yeah maybe the sensor is the culprit. Just start troubleshooting and see what you come up with.

Take a paperclip, unwind it and form it into a U shape, then open up the diagnostics cover and stick one end in each port. They are listed on the inside cover of the little box. Check the link below for a pic of its location.

CTS?(coolant temp sensor). you could check or replace that. whatever you want to do. its its always reading hot then its gonna richen it up or vise versa. but try replacying the 02 first
