Default started polishing my oem intake!

started doing it since i had to remove it to get to the bad freeze out plug. plans to go na-t. will this help?

Polishing the outside of the intake, or the inside?

congrats sean are you gonna go with the xs power kit? ive seen ur car over the last year transform good to know ur gonna give the old girl some more juice!!!

I have read good things about the XS Power kit. Go for it!

u can do the ebay kit but just watch the manifold for clearnce issues and run a nice size t70

Ya never know...I was once told that polishing the outside helps keep the intake cooler....This was coming from a meat head in a Prelude

ebay T70s arent nice sized; they dont have 70mm compressors at all.

The T61 kit in the XSPower kit (you know what retailer I'm talking about I'm getting one soon myself) is a great kit.

yea i mean the inside. if it would help improve airflow. but i think im gonna take the whole thing to the chromer. see how much they gonna charge me.

I would get the XS Mani, Downpipe,Dump Tube and Intake but I would go for a reputable turbo(Precision, Turbonetics etc) and Wastegate (Tial, TurboSmart etc)

By the looks of that radiator cap i see why you had bad freeze outs lol. Looks liek somone was running straight water or somthing...

the car over heated afew times before they stole it. cherplex- just those 4 parts? what about oil lines and other little things that come with the kit?

Well that doesn't make any sense either since you are reducing surface area when you sand smooth and polish it.

I thought it was pretty obvious he was talking about the inside since he ended it with "will this Help"
