Default turbo question

what rpm would a T78 turbo start to spool at as supposed to a garrett turbo of the same horse power capabilities


also, is a tough/ exspesive taske to mate the gte tranyy with the factory sc300 driveshaft

Kind of hard to say when the spool would start, what motor is this on?


As far as I know SC300 drive shaft will not work with GTE tranny.

it needs custom driveshafts.

2jx-gte is the motor..and what would drivesharts cost me about

You just need the output flange and driveshaft from the SC400 to mate the 2jz-gte/tranny to the SC300.

I think I heard you can get a custom drive shaft for 200-300

T-78 Spools around 42/4500 rpm

Depends on which rear you are using. You need the front 1/2 for the 6 speed
trans. If your using the 6 speed rear you need the supra driveshaft & have
it stretched & balanced.

I think it works like this..

The smaller the inner fan blade in diameter, the quicker it will spool up, while the larger the inner blade, the longer it takes to spool up.
